Etaily, a Philippines-based business to business (B2B) eCommerce enabler, has emerged as the winner of the Expand North Star Pitch Competition, hosted in partnership with the GITEX Global team in the Philippines.

Etaily said in a statement on Monday that the competition brings together the greatest tech startups and investors from across the world to explore partnership opportunities.

The Expand North Star and GITEX Global teams traveled throughout the world, and the pitch competition drew a large number of tech enthusiasts.

The Expand North Star present Competition is a cooperation between the Philippines and the UAE that allows companies to present their ideas in front of a panel of distinguished judges.

Earning the qualification, etaily will bring its expertise and winning idea to Dubai for the Finals.

The competition’s judges, Katrina Chan of QBO Innovation, Franco Varona of Foxmont Ventures and Carlo Calimon of StartUp Village, praised the quality of the pitches and expressed optimism about the future of Philippine entrepreneurs.

The Supernova Challenge allows entrepreneurs to compete for cash awards of up to $200,000 while also connecting with global investors.

The competition gives companies a forum to present their inventions and earn exposure in the worldwide market.
