Chinese multinational technology corporation Huawei announced its inaugural inclusion in Singapore’s Best Employers 2023 curated by The Straits Times and global market research firm Statista on Tuesday.
Listed within the ‘IT, Internet, Software & Services’ industry category, Huawei said in a statement that it is ranked within the Top 60 companies among a list of Top 250 companies, despite the large pool of respondents and list of companies evaluated.
Compiled by The Straits Times and Statista, this annual Singapore’s Best Employers list for 2023 has been chosen based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 17,000 employees working for companies employing at least 200 people in their Singaporean operations.
The employees were consulted through several online panels and via The Straits Times website, allowing them to openly state their opinions of their employers.
The evaluation was based on two distinct criteria: how willing employees are to recommend their employers to their friends and family, and employees’ evaluations of other employers in their respective industries.
Now in its fourth edition, the list features 250 top companies that have won the hearts and mind of employees, out of more than 1,700 eligible organizations across 27 industries.
