iSeller, Indonesia’s omnichannel-based Point of Sale (POS) platform for online and offline merchants, has on Thursday announced the completion of a $12 million Series B round of financing led by Intudo Ventures.

The round also saw participation from KVision (Kasikornbank), as well as existing investors Mandiri Capital Indonesia and Openspace Ventures, iSeller said in a statement.

With this round of financing, iSeller plans to release a new version of its flagship products focusing on improved user experience, and faster performance and reliability.

Merchants can also expect new payment and marketplace integration that makes managing business even easier.

For future outlook, iSeller aims to achieve profitability within the next three years by focusing on expanding reach through strategic partners, acquisition efficiency, and increasing customer lifetime value (CLTV) through more comprehensive and integrated merchant value-added services.

“iSeller has experienced remarkable growth over the past few years, driven by immense demand by micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and online businesses for omnichannel solutions from stock management and marketing, to payments and accounting—improving operations efficiency and facilitating business growth.

“In doing so, our solutions not only help businesses streamline day-to-day operations, but provide upside business growth for long-term success,” said Jimmy Petrus, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iSeller.

“We are grateful for the support of our new and existing investors, and look forward to building new products and services to help drive the digital transformation of Indonesia’s economy,” he added.

iSeller, the “Shopify of Indonesia”, offers an all-in-one solution with a fully integrated ecosystem for businesses to digitize sales and operations, including POS, digital payments acceptance, inventory management, instant online stores, marketplace integration, and food delivery integration—helping sellers of all sizes and skills go digital.

Over the past year, the firm has rapidly expanded, gaining significant traction in merchant adoption and payment processing.

The company has expanded to cover 30 cities across Indonesia and is trusted by more than 100,000 businesses, including companies like SOGO, OMNILUXE, Jiwa Group, GK Hebat Group, Agung Sedayu Group, Damn! I love Indonesia, Sinarmas, IT Gallery, Es Teler 77, HopHop, Lemonilo, and Peripera, among many others.

“Indonesia’s merchant ecosystem has historically suffered from fragmentation and inefficient processes. By galvanizing the digital transformation of merchants, iSeller has experienced extraordinary growth over the past few years, leveraging the team’s expertise in software as a service (SaaS), omnichannel technology and integrated payments for the Indonesian market,

“We are excited to support Jimmy and iSeller to accelerate growth and become Indonesia’s undisputed market leader,” said Patrick Yip, Founding Partner of Intudo Ventures.

Over the past two years, iSeller experienced more than four-fold increase in merchant acquisitions and revenue, while gross transaction volume (GTV) increased five-fold to more than $600 million.

The company saw almost a 15 times increase in the use of marketplace integration features in the iSeller ecosystem, and a 4 times increase in online store channel adoption.

To support this dramatic growth, iSeller has strengthened its customer experience team with more than 100 new employees over the past 10 months.

Currently, iSeller is the only omnichannel-based sales platform that has been fully-integrated with Indonesia’s four largest marketplaces—namely Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada, and Blibli.

In order to better serve merchants, iSeller has established a national-level partnership with Bank Mandiri Indonesia, where Mandiri has adopted iSeller as the official POS platform for all merchants on Mandiri’s Livin Merchant program, covering over three million businesses.

As part of the financing, iSeller also completed its acquisition of YUKK—a PJSP licensed payment gateway, to further expand the company’s payment services for greater financial inclusivity.

“iSeller is at the forefront of Indonesia’s omnichannel-based point-of-sales (POS) platform for online and offline merchants,” said Dennis Pratisha, Chief Investment Officer, Mandiri Capital Indonesia.

“The retail sector has faced numerous challenges in recent years. It will need a system like iSeller to not only help businesses improve operational efficiency, but also provide growth for long-term success,

“We are thrilled with iSeller’s impact especially with Mandiri’s Livin Merchant Program that covers three million businesses and have complete confidence in iSeller’s leadership, as well as their future trajectory,” he added.
