TechNode Global is looking for Community and Partnership Lead to join its APAC-based team in building a tight-knit and dynamic tech community in propelling them to soar to greater heights. About you

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a tech community relations & partnership role, where you have successfully hosted meaningful programs aimed at serving the tech ecosystem (experience in developers’ relations is a plus)
  • Love connecting with other tech enthusiasts, developers, and partners; people who enjoy speaking or writing about cutting-edge technologies, and find it natural to engage with others
  • Self-starter who has solid performance and ability to manage projects in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Possess problem-solving leadership capability and not afraid of rolling up the sleeves
  • Good communication and coordination skills, attentive to details, and dedication to work
  • Have existing professional and personal local & regional contacts to leverage on in order to establish valuable partnerships
  • Have a good understanding of the global startup and tech ecosystem (good knowledge of China and SEA is a plus)
  • You are resilient and don’t get discouraged by slowing momentum or setbacks

What you’ll do

The Community and Partnership Lead will be an integral part of TechNode Global expansion strategy. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can take ownership of the role and work closely with core team members in conceiving, orchestrating and executing projects, and establishing strategic partnerships beneficial to the company. The ideal candidate will constantly operate with a strong sense of urgency to get things done and is result-oriented. We are a growing team so you’ll likely get involved in a little bit of everything, but here are some of the main things you’ll be doing:

  1. Spearhead and take charge of the community building & partnership strategies to drive engagement. Goal-oriented and ensure KPIs are met.
  2. The end-to-end management of programs and initiatives in-line to our community building strategy, content framework, target audience and objectives (managing operational and administrative functions)
  3. Work jointly with the media team for content creation and PR/marketing
  4. Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities. Maintain positive and strong relationships with other ecosystem enablers and clients
  5. Responsible for monitoring and reporting the performance of the programs and initiatives
  6. Leading the day-to-day community development and retention programs.
