Private equity-backed transactions in Southeast Asia fell to one of their weakest levels in two years in the third quarter of 2026, with deal value dropping 56 percent quarter-on-quarter to $410 million across five deals, from $935.5 million across ten deals in the previous quarter, EY said on Friday.
