The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has on Thursday issued a Statutory Demand to TikTok following the platform’s failure to take sufficient and timely action in moderating offensive and defamatory content directed, as well as fake accounts against the Malaysian Royal Institution.
