Gogoro Inc, a Taiwan-based battery swapping ecosystems provider announced Thursday that Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded it with a sandbox pilot to deploy and validate battery swapping as a means for next generation smart mobility. The firm is kicking off its sandbox pilot by partnering with Jardine Cycle & Carriage, a diversified group with market-leading businesses across Southeast Asia.
